New Normal, New Waves

"New Normal, New Waves," an exhibition centered on the artistic worlds of capable emerging and mid-career artists discovered and supported by Soohoh Gallery, runs from Friday, November 18 to Sunday, December 18, 2022, at Lotte Department Store Dongtan in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province. Ten artists take part: Youngsae Kim, Y.K. Byun, Sukju Lee, Kiseop Kim, Jihyeon Choi, Eunbi Lee, Soyoung Ahn, Mihui Hong, Ji-young, and Sungwon Jung.

"New normal" — a standard that newly emerges alongside the changes of the times — tends to surface especially in moments of reflection on the past and the search for a new order. Today, having passed through the pandemic, we face the historic transition of the post-Covid era. At this point, when we must seek out the new normal of a new era amid a health threat that has spread across the economy, culture, and society at large, Soohoh Gallery hopes to introduce, through "New Normal, New Waves," the artistic worlds of these capable artists.
