Young Sae Kim

Young Sae Kim builds numbered abstract paintings in acrylic. He studied at the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf (MFA) and philosophy at the University of Cologne, after graduating from Hongik University and its graduate school of fine arts.
His works are held in the collections of the Bank of Korea Museum, Daegu Art Museum, Daegu Culture and Arts Center, Korea University Museum, Kurokawa-in Museum (Japan) and MBC, among others. He received the Grand Prize at the Gyeongbuk Art Exhibition in 1998 and has held solo exhibitions at Kumho Museum of Art, Suseong Artpia and Soohoh Gallery.
