Ahn So-young

Ahn So-young's "A Journey of One's Own" series follows a woman of indeterminate age, free of the constraints of time and place, introducing nomadic thinking to the incomplete present — her girlish expression recalling a lost inner purity as she remains, still, on a journey. She holds a BFA in printmaking from Hongik University, with recent exhibitions including the Focus Art Fair (Saatchi Gallery, London, 2021) and "A Journey of One's Own" (H Contemporary Gallery, Pangyo, 2021).
