Hwang Dayeon
황다연
Hwang Dayeon paints a small utopia of her own making, using pink imaginary spaces to symbolize the longing of moderns living in contemporary society, drawing on Faber Birren's color harmony for a stable, tinted palette. She graduated from Mokwon University (Western painting) and completed her MFA in painting at Hongik University, and has held numerous solo and group exhibitions at Soohoh Gallery and elsewhere, including Design Korea and the Seoul Art Show.
