It is, so to speak, the limit the subject's perception can reach — the boundary drawn, the invisible line, between subject and nature. The image of a lone house, its painterly texture emphasized, presents a landscape in which the artist unfolds an inner world through formal language. The work leads us, past all the absurdity, tragedy, and darkness of our lives, toward a free and boundless world.
