2023 Soohoh Gallery Special Exhibition: World-Renowned Prints

Exhibition theme: Emptying, Filling. "The way of learning is to fill day by day; the way of the Tao is to empty day by day."

Since 2008, Soohoh Gallery has presented exhibitions with artists from Korea and abroad, introducing the rich diversity of art from around the world. "World-Renowned Prints" takes a fresh look at the print works of internationally celebrated artists, in dialogue with figures from Korean modern and contemporary art. Prints let you collect and enjoy the work of celebrated artists far more affordably than original paintings, while still carrying much of the same value. This exhibition presents roughly 80 prints by Marc Quinn, Damien Hirst, Takashi Murakami, Julian Opie, Yayoi Kusama, Mayuka Yamamoto, Andy Warhol, Alphonse Mucha, Tracey Emin, Antony Gormley, Hernan Bas, Joel Shapiro, Taewon Kim, Kim Tschang-Yeul, Lee Ufan, Nam June Paik, Hyeongno Song, and Y.K. Byun. We thank everyone at Lotte Department Store Dongtan for hosting this exhibition, and Soohoh Gallery will continue to present a wide range of exhibitions in step with the times, together with accomplished artists.
