Ju Sangmin

Ju Sangmin's performative and sculptural work proposes a means of communication premised on encounter and connection, using sensor-activated pieces that let viewers access hidden meanings behind signs and icons, questioning what is taken for granted in an accelerating era. He holds a PhD in sculpture from Seoul National University's Graduate School of Fine Art and an MFA from Montclair State University, and has exhibited at venues including Gallery Giota, Soohoh Gallery, and the Gwanghwamun International Art Festival.
