Y.K. Byun: Solo Exhibition

Having lived for many years in the United States, the artist poured his reflections on life as a member of a minority, and a record of his own healing, into minimalist form, expressing them in a lyrical yet finely wrought visual language.

In his point-based drawings, the artist sets down countless dots, as though letting his own condensed, inner time dissolve into the long river of a lifetime, weaving time and space across the surface like warp and weft, creating a meditative atmosphere.
