Park Min-hwan Solo Exhibition: 'House for All'
Mar 22, 2025 – Apr 2, 2025 · 수호갤러리

Artist statement: "The forest was not made for humans. And yet the forest remains the most perfect architecture for humans."
We construct space and build our lives upon it, driven by an endless pursuit of spatial experience. The way we create space, and the force that composes it, is directly tied to human life. I try to turn the storage of everyday objects — spaces long confined to pure efficiency — into "houses," an architectural transformation that, beyond its lyrical gesture of giving objects a home, leads to a deeper inquiry into how our own homes and lives are shaped by the same logic of storage. Ultimately I seek to build a forest as the totality of all space, and to find a new architecture for humanity and for all.
Held in the beautiful spring of Soohoh Gallery's 2025 theme, "Environment and Art," this exhibition by architect Park Min-hwan, winner of the 16th Soohoh Artist Open Call, proposes a new way of seeing space — beyond fixed frames, through the order and harmony found in nature, and architectural experiment. We invite you to explore the possibility of a "home for everyone."
