Kyoungmi Lee

Kyoungmi Lee studied painting and printmaking at Hong-Ik University, earning her B.F.A. and M.F.A. in Painting. Her work translates the excess and randomness of contemporary information into dense, encyclopedic compositions, treating every formal element as an interchangeable unit of data. She has held solo exhibitions in Seoul, Shanghai, Hong Kong, and Taipei, including at CAIS Gallery and the Lingang Contemporary Art Museum, and her work is held in the collections of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea and the Suwon District Court.
