Lee Dongeun

Lee Dongeun's work questions who we are in the cyberworld, asking why the avatar "Alice" — our created alter-ego — comes to stand in for us in online communication, treating masks as surrogates created and discarded by necessity. She graduated with a BA (Hons) Fine Art from UAL Chelsea College of Arts, London (2016), and has held five solo exhibitions including at Soohoh Gallery (2018) and Blank Space Gallery, New York (2017), alongside group exhibitions across Korea, the UK, and Italy.
