Myungsun Park

Myungsun Park (b. 1960) creates the "Light" series — works such as "Light—Gathering," "Growing," "Flying," "Loving," "Longing" — approaching space through contemplation rather than visual light itself, works born of mind and thought. For Park, light symbolizes hope, and the spaces it generates become meditative sites linking the outer and inner worlds. She holds a PhD in art from Hongik University and teaches at Dankook University's graduate school of education.
