Yun Bo-yun Solo Exhibition: 'Pathways'

We invite you to Yun Bo-yun's 2020 solo exhibition at Soohoh Gallery.

In her second solo exhibition at Soohoh Gallery, the artist deepens an ontological and philosophical inquiry into "what is a human being" and "where are we going," lending her primal, foundational body of work greater depth and resonance.

Standing before the great wheel of history — the traces left by humanity even when we could not share the same era, the legacies artists have left behind, the souls of nameless righteous people who vanished without a name, the great masters who walked a path of hardship, and the saints who, through faith and calling, walked toward transcendence — she looks back, one by one, upon the countless irrational acts and cruelties, the vast unhappiness humanity has wrought, and upon our hope, dreaming of utopia even as we overcome our era and ourselves.

Viewing Yun Bo-yun's exhibition brings us face to face with a time of deep reflection and with the question of where we are going.
