Nami Song

Nami Song (b. 1975) presents a new concept of flowers rendered in artificial, distinctly abstract materials, capturing the moment just before a flower blooms as its most beautiful. Her flowers are grafted onto lasting, real forms to preserve beauty and life's vitality eternally, freed from decay and death, remaining forever at their peak. She holds a BFA in industrial art from Duksung Women's University, an MFA in textile design from Sookmyung Women's University, and a PhD in industrial design from Kyonggi University, and directs Johyeong Yeonguso Nami.
